LE RYTHME SYNODIQUE Le mois synodique correspond à la période de temps que la Lune met pour réaliser une lunaison (un cycle complet entre deux nouvelles lunes consécutives). C'est le mois que nous utilisons dans le calendrier grégorien, il correspond à une période de environ 29 jours, 12 heures et 44 minutes. Pendant un cycle complet, on observe la phase croissante et la phase décroissante de la Lune. Durant la phase croissante, on distingue la nouvelle Lune, le premier croissant, le premier quartier et la Lune gibbeuse croissante.
